About the Chorale
For more than 55 years the Kauai Chorale has been presenting choral music concerts on the Garden Island.
The Kauai Chorale is a non-profit organization funded in part by the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and Kauai Island Utility Cooperative, as well as, membership dues, ticket sales and donations.
Artistic Director
Joe Moore assumed the role of Artistic Director of the Kauai Chorale in 2024 following S. Morris Wise and his tenure as Artistic Director.
Chorale History
Throughout the last five and a half decades the Kauai Chorale has performed a diversity of works from Kauai to Honolulu to New York. Over the years The Chorale has performed a diversity of work and musical styles from Jesus Christ Superstar to Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and Leonard Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms”. Often joined by the Kauai Community College Wind Ensemble, Orchestra and Chiefess Kamakahelei Band, Chorale performances are always a celebration of local musicians and talent.
